iFilm English TV to air new series ‘Innocence Lost’

iFilm English TV Channel has been scheduled to air new series ‘Innocence Lost’ from Sunday night.

Airing of the new series, produced by Mohammad Masoud and directed by Davoud Mir-Baqeri, will be started on April 10, 2022.

Written by Hassan Mir-Baqeri and Mohammad Beyranvand, ‘Innocence Lost’ is about a reputable treasurer in Kufa named Shozab who was a companion of Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam, and his son, Imam Hussein (AS).

Shozab gets married to a Christian nun who converts to Islam, but in a dramatic turn of events, he turns his back on his glorious past and falls in love with an evil woman named Homeira.

Notable on the cast list are Amin Tarokh, Fariba Kosari, Sara Khoueeniha, Amin Zendegani, Hadis Fouladvand, Daryoush Farhang, Akbar Abdi, the late Davoud Rashidi, Reza Rouygari, and Siavash Tahmoures.

The cast list goes on with the late Abbas Amiri-Moqaddam, Marzieh Boroumand, Ramtin Khodapanahi, Ahou Kheradmand, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Maryam Boubani, Saeed Nikpour, Mohsen Qazi-Moradi, and Mostafa Tari.

‘Innocence Lost’, made in 2003, will replace ‘Buried Treasure’, which will be aired daily at 19:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the drama on the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 (all GMT times). The new series is comprised of 19 episodes.
